The official video for Mediæval Bæbes track Rosario, taken from their new album Prayers of the Rosary.
I felt the song needed a brooding, intense visual experiment, but felt it was really important to collaborate with the music on an emotional level.
I wanted to create something mediative, and reflective, as if this visual would be part of a prayer/ ceremony.
I saw the link between ritual and prayer and transcendental experiences – sometimes enhanced with mind-altering substances, natural or not… 🙂
